Welcome to Your Neighbourhood Property Services! We are a local property maintenance company based in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, and Swansea. We can help with any job no matter how small. From putting your TV on the wall through to managing a new tenancy refresh or recurring maintenance contracts.
Our business started in 2019 as Your Neighbourhood Handyman and has since grown to become one of the leading and highly recommended property maintenance companies in the area.
Our founder, Alex Price, started the business with a passion for helping local residents with their property maintenance needs. Since then, we have built a small team of trusted and friendly professionals from a variety of trades, each with experience in a wide range of property maintenance work. We take great pride in delivering top-quality services to our customers, and we always strive to exceed expectations.
At Your Neighbourhood Property Services, we want our customers to feel confident in our standard of work. That’s why we are fully insured and hold a Waste Carriers License with Natural Resource Wales (NRW), ensuring that we operate responsibly and maintain the highest standards.
Via our own team and with the help of some local trusted business, we offer a wide range of property maintenance and general home improvement services, including plumbing, electrical work, painting and decorating, home repairs, uPVC doors and windows, carpet fitting and much more. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service, quality workmanship, and competitive pricing. We take pride in delivering exceptional results that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Meet The Team
Alex Price
Business Owner
Alex is the original Your Neighbourhood Handyman and owner of YNPS. He is a qualified Tree surgeon and also has 7 years’ experience of property maintenance and development. He enjoys getting out on his road bike when he can and can always be found in Beer Park Llanelli after work every Thursday, with the rest of the team. Don’t offer Alex a coffee after 11am and never offer him tea!
Pete Stroud
Painter & Decorator
Pete moved from Portsmouth to Llanelli and joined us in February 2022 as a painter and decorator with over 30 years’ experience. He is also very handy and often gets roped into general maintenance work. Our customers love Pete and he can talk the hind legs off a donkey. Pete drinks coffee, milk, and no sugar, and there’s no limit to his caffeine intake.
Sonny Evans
Property Maintenance Technician
Sonny has worked with us since March 2024 and has over 20 years of experience in property refurbishments, for large scale property developers and a BA in Conservation Architecture. Making him an excellent all rounder. He lives locally with his family, including 5 cats, 4 dogs. Plus he’s a super happy, friendly person and would never say no to a cup of tea, milk no sugar.
Bee Kingshott
Admin Assistant
Bee, who used to look after the day-to-day admin, now supports Alex with recruitment, health and safety, setting up property management and recurring maintenance contracts, sourcing and vetting new subcontractors, etc, to make sure Alex can focus on our customers and his team.
Chloe Taylor
Admin Assistant
Chloe, usually the first point of contact for our customers, is the captain of the admin ship. She keeps us steered on course and makes sure our customers get an excellent service from the moment they make their first enquiry. She is also a very talented designer and creates and sells her own artistic prints. She even designed this very website!
